Payment Instructions for Visa Fees:
Pay Government of Canada Visa fees as per instructions on the Citizenship and Immigration Canada website.
If paying in Canadian dollars: Payment must be sent to Dakar and paid by bank draft or certified cheque in Canadian dollars payable to the Receiver General for Canada, and should be cleared by a Canadian bank. Cheques issued in Canadian dollars by a bank located outside of Canada must clearly indicate the complete address and account number of the corresponding bank in Canada or the institution where the check may be cashed in Canada (Your bank can provide this).
If paying in local currency: Pay at the Bank of Africa (BOA-Niger) across the National Lottery headquarters.

New service charges became effective on 1 May 2026.
The submission date for mail-in applications will be the date on which the Visa Application Centre receives the application. If a mail-in application is received and does not include correct payment for current service charges, the applicant will be contacted to pay the difference, or the application will be returned to the applicant.
