- The charges collected are not refundable in case the applicant is refused a visa.
- Children who are under 12 years of age are exempt from the requirement to pay a visa fee.
- When submitting an application for issuance of a visa for airport transit or for short-term stay, a fee of EUR 90 shall be collected, unless otherwise provided for by law, in an international treaty to which the Republic of Bulgaria is a party, in an act of the European Community/European Union, in an agreement of the European Community/European Union with third countries or in an act of the Council of Ministers.
Please note the Visa Fees will need to be paid at the Visa Application Center in Cash/Credit Card in THB only depending on the exchange rate.
In addition to the above, applicants will also have to pay VFS Service charge of THB 1,480 (Euro 40) as well as the logistics service fee of THB 1,554 (Euro 42) at the visa application center.

Checklist Documents to be submitted on applying for a type “A” visa
The following documents shall be submitted together with the application on applying for an airport transit visa:
- A regular foreign travel document.
- A photocopy of the pages the foreign travel document with the personal information and with the visas laid and/or a photocopy of the held permits for stay in the next states along the route as well as for the end destination state, if required.
- A recent colorful photograph (passport size)
- Flight booking
Before the airport transit visa is issued, the ticket and a copy thereof are presented.
There are additional requirements for the other types of visas.
