Overview
Visa is valid to visit all the Schengen States
Only Qatari nationals and nationals of third countries that are legal residents in Qatar can apply for a visa at the Application Center in Qatar.
Visa applicants are requested to appear in person at the time of submission. The Embassy of Czech Republic in Qatar reserves the right to invite the applicant to a personal interview.
Incomplete, unclear or unsigned applications will not be accepted, and the visa application can only be processed upon receipt of ALL documents required by the embassy. Kindly refer to the documents required page to make sure you have the supporting documents.
Visa fees are non-refundable and have to be paid only in cash at the time of application
Applications for a visa has to be received by the Embassy of Czech Republic in Qatar at least three (3) weeks. If the visit involves two or more Schengen countries, the Embassy responsible for the issuance of the visa will be:
The Embassy of the country in which the traveller is going to stay the longest.
If the traveller is to stay the same time in different Schengen countries, the Embassy of the country of first entry.
Important reminder: Applicants are free to apply up to 90 days prior to their date of travel.
The Embassy recommends that you apply at least 3 weeks prior to your date of travel to accommodate any unforeseen processing delays.

The Visa fees must be paid in cash at the Visa Application Center.
Fees are subject to consular exchange rate changes without prior notice.

Note : Insurance certificate must be with original stamp and sign of the insurance company ,Electronic Stamp and signature will not be acceptable .
- Original application form duly completed, dated and signed.
- Original passport and a copy of data page of the passport. Passport cannot be older than 10 years and must be valid for at least 90 days from the required visa expiration date.
- The passport must contain the signature or the fingerprint of its holder and must have 2 opposite free passport pages
- For non –Qatarti Nationals: The passport must contain Residence Permit in the State of Qatar valid for at least 90 days from the required visa expiration date.
- Copy of the previous Schengen visa stickers (from actual of previous passports)
- Copy of the residence permit in Qatar
- For person with disabilities, copy of the ID for the disabled person.

Note: Passport size with white background; must be recent (not older than 6 months) and sized 3.5 x 4.5 cm.
It is important that the submitted photograph on your application form matches the image taken when your biometric information is being enrolled at the Visa Application Center.To avoid inconvenience at the border control, please ensure that you submit a photograph which is not photoshopped/edited and present yourself during the biometric enrolment with less or subtle make-up which resembles the true likeness of you when you travel.
- Original European medical insurance covering the territory of the Member states of the Schengen agreement and with minimum coverage of EUR 30, 000 for medical expenses; the validity must cover the entire period of the person’s intended stay or transit. Photocopy of the insurance will not be acceptable must be original. If the insurance policy is photocopied but attested/stamped by the Insurance Company, It will not be acceptable, as well as those insurance policy that has been obtain thru online will also not accepted must be original. Flight ticket: Please supply a copy of the electronic flight tickets (E-Ticket).
- Note: If you are planning to visit several Schengen countries, all transfers (flight/ferry/train/bus/taxi) showing entry and exit from Czech Republic/between other countries must be provided. Name of the applicant must appear on all proof of transport.
- Confirmed hotel reservation covering the entire duration of the stay, or recent proof of owning a house/flat in Czech Republic. It’s not advisable that applicant make any changes in hotel bookings during the visa process or after receiving decision.
- Note: If planning to visit several Schengen countries all hotel reservation must be provided. Also, AIR BNB accommodation is not acceptable by the Czech Republic Embassy.
- For Pakistan passport holders: Original Polio Vaccination (yellow card) is a must.

Original up-to-date Bank statement (required for non-Qatari only): for the last six months.
Important reminder: Must be printed on original letterhead of the issuing bank or stamped/attested by bank.

Invitation letter signed by inviting partner (Czech citizen of company) approved by Immigration Police of the Czech Republic
Note: The invitation must contain the following: Full name of applicant, passport details, period and duration of stay, reason for business trip, information on who will bear the cost of the stay, and confirmation that the applicant will not work in Czech Republic and leave after the end of the trip.

For non-Qatari nationals
- NOC Letter from local sponsor stating qualification, salary, start date of employment in Qatar and purpose of travel
- Residency permit/ID card (copy): The end of validity shall be at least 90 days from the required visa expiration date.
- Trade license (copy)
Photo Specifications
- Photos must be no more than 6 months old
- 45–50mm high and 35–40mm wide
- Must show head and top of shoulders close up, so that the face occupies 70% to 80% of the photo area
- Must be perfectly on focus
- Must be printed on high-quality paper with high resolution and should not present ink stains or folds
- Photograph cannot be manipulated, for example, by removing spots or softening lines.

- Background should be white
- Luminosity shall be uniform, without shades, flash reflections or red eye effect

- Colors shall be natural
- Eyes shall be open and perfectly visible – with no hair across them
- Face shall be straight and looking at the camera. You shall not look over one shoulder and your head shall not be tilted (portrait style)
- Must show clearly both sides of your face

The photograph must:
- Show you looking directly at the camera
- Show natural skin tones
- Have appropriate brightness and contrast, and natural colors
- Be printed on high resolution photographic paper

If you wear glasses, they must show your eyes clearly:
- No flash reflection off the lenses.
- No dark tinted lenses
- Lighter framed glasses are preferable
- Frame should not cover any part of your eyes

- Head coverings are not permitted except for religious reasons:
- in which case, facial features from bottom of chin to top of forehead and both edges of your face must be clearly shown
- One person per photograph (without furniture, toys, objects, or another person, visible), showing you looking directly at the camera with a neutral expression and mouth closed.

Processing Time
Under normal circumstance, applications can be processed within 2 weeks approximately for the following passport holders: Kuwait / Bahrain / UAE / Qatar / Oman / India / Philippines (Subject to change without prior notice).
Other nationalities not listed above could be processed within minimum 15 working days approximately.
The above period does not guarantee that applications will be processed within that certain duration; the period may be extended up to a maximum of 30 working days approximately in individual cases, notably when further scrutiny of the application is needed or in cases of representation where the authorities of the represented Member state are consulted.
Exceptionally, when additional documentation is needed in specific cases, the period may be extended up to a maximum of 60 working days approximately
