Tourist visa is granted for those where the intention is to visit Italy for tourism.

There is a service charge of 18 475 KZT (Inclusive of 16% VAT) levied per application above the visa fees

The visa application center offers optional additional services:

All fees are paid by card or in cash only in local currency – KZT (tenge).

All VFS service charges are paid by card or in cash only in KZT.

• Applicants must apply for the visa in the Country of habitual residence. Third country nationals (non-Kazakh citizens) must provide a Residence permit issued by Kazakhstan, valid for at least six months before the scheduled departure and valid for at least three months after the end of the intended trip.
• Applicants shall submit a bank statement showing proof of sufficient means of subsistence (salary or other sources of income). Bank statements shall be provided in original issued by the bank for the last three months with verification QR codes. Bank statements relating to other cards (e.g. Kaspi account, other prepaid cards etc.) are optional and not sufficient to demonstrate the availability of reliable financial guarantees.
• Please note that the Embassy Visa Office may proceed with an interview with the applicant and, when circumstances require it, request additional/supplementary documents.

Photo Specifications

• No more than 6-months old
• 3.5*4.0cm in width
• The background of the photo should be bright, plain and even
• Close up of your head and top of your shoulders so that your face takes up 70 -80% of the photograph
• If a person has to cover his head due to religious reasons, the head cover may not cover the face of the person.
• No glasses, if they impede eye visibility.

Processing Time

Due to the duration of document processing, it is advisable to submit applications well in advance, at least 15 calendar days prior and no earlier that 6 month before the date of departure. In some cases, processing time may be extended to 45 days. In case of late submission, the Embassy may refuse acceptance of your documents. The application processing time for relatives of the EU citizens is as short as possible.

Family members of citizens of the European Union may apply for visa in Visa Application Center without appointment. To confirm you family relationship it is required to provide identity document (marriage, paternity or birth certificate).
