Overview
Please be informed that the Embassy of Lithuania in Armenia is accepting documents for the trips to Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Hungary, Denmark, the Netherlands.
If you wish to visit Lithuania/Latvia/Estonia/Hungary/Denmark/the Netherlands for a short period of time and if you come from a country with a visa requirement to enter Lithuania, you must obtain a visa prior to entry. Armenian nationals require a visa to enter Lithuania.
Applicant must choose correct Purpose of travel to Lithuania while applying for visa and the decision must be made by the applicants themselves – Visa Application Centre staff will not be able to assist in taking this decision. In case of any questions regarding the visa application the Embassy/ Consulate General may require an additional interview with the applicant.
VFS is not at liberty to consider the admissibility of an application. If necessary documents are missing the Embassy can decide not to process the application even if VFS received and forwarded it. In such cases VFS informs the applicants about the latest requirements regarding the documents given from the Embassy and it is up to applicant to decide to hand in the documents that way or not.
Please be informed that learning of your documents may take some time. For saving your time please present the package of documents in the right order. Follow the instructions presented in the website for accepting your documents faster. Children under 12 years of age may not be present during the submission of documents in VAC. They are exempted from giving the fingerprints.
The normal processing time for applications submitted in Yerevan is 10- calendar days from the day of submission. In case of incomplete documentation or in case the Embassy/ Consulate General wishes to see you in person before making a decision on your application, the processing time may increase.
A visa is only intended to allow a foreign national to visit Lithuania and/or the other Schengen countries** for a limited period of time (90 days within a period of 180 days). If you wish to reside in Lithuania for an extended period of time (more than 90 days), you need to apply for a National Visa.
The possession of a visa does not confer an automatic right of entry to a Schengen country. The visa holder is requested to present proof that they fulfill the entry conditions at the border (valid travel document, valid visa, and valid purpose of travel with adequate means of travel). Passport has to be valid for at least three months beyond the intended stay in Lithuania and needs to contain at least two empty pages available for visa and/or permit sticker. A new passport must be obtained before submission of your application, if the said conditions are not met.

Visa Fees
Schengen visa type C C Category Citizens of Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia, Serbia, Montenegro, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Azerbaijan, Armenia Nationals of other states/ Applicants travelling to Denmark Fee 35 € 90 € Please note:
- Visa fee for Schengen visa for Armenian citizens remains the same – 35 euro (also for citizens of countries which has visa facilitation agreements with EU, namely: Albania, Azerbaijan, Bosnia Herzegovina, FYROM, Georgia, Moldova, Montenegro, Serbia, Ukraine). Visa fee for citizens of the Republic of Cape Verde is 75% from the applicable fee specified in EU legislation, i.e. €67,50.
- Visa fee for all other nationalities, for Schengen visa increases to 90 euro (45 euro for children 6 to 12 years).
- Visa fee for Armenian citizens for Schengen visa to Denmark increases to 90 euro (45 euro for children 6 to 12 years).
VFS service charge:
Apart from the visa fee, VFS service charge of the equivalent of 17.9 Euros inclusive of VAT per application will be levied for applicants applying at the visa application centre.
The visa charge is waived for the following applicants:
- Children under 12 years of age
- Persons who travel to study
- Pensioners (pension book is required)
- Relatives of EU citizens (direct ties)
- Cultural, sport journeys (with corresponding invitation and job reference)
- Volunteers
- Persons who travel with business invitations (with corresponding invitation and job reference)
- Disabled persons (1-st, 2-nd, 3-rd groups of disability)
- Accompanying persons of the disabled (if necessary)

Documents Required
- Application form filled in online (before printing the application, please press SUBMIT). Information filled in the application form should have an appropriate proof.
- Please be kindly informed that beginning from June 2, 2025, the applicants must fill in their application forms via the following link https://www.migracija.lt/ , the applicant should choose the option "For foreigners", find his nationality, to get or extend Schengen visa, and proceed with other steps until the application form. No other application form will be acceptable. Also note, that wile filling in the application form, at the end mark “to apply at the visa center”., no other application form will be acceptable. - 1 biometrics photos (3.5 x 4.5), taken not earlier than 6 months. The forehead and ears should be as visible as possible, without heavy massive jewelry. The photo should be of high quality, desirable: not glossy.
- Valid Passport (issued no later than 10 years ago and with a validity of 3 months after the return day). The passport is preferable to be clean and without damages and shall have 2 blank visa pages.
- For minors:
- Birth certificate
- Copies of pages with notes of parents’ passports (if the minor is applying with one parent only or without parents)
- Marriage certificate of parents / Paternity acknowledgement certificate /Divorce certificate/ Guardianship documents
- Children under 12 is not mandatory to be present at VAC as no fingerprint is taken. Children from 12 to 18 years old must be present during document submission.
- Foreign citizens should provide the proof of their legal stay in Armenia: residence permit, stamp of registration, which must be valid at least 3 months after the intended return from EU member states.
- Documents indicating the purpose of the journey.(proof of accommodation)
- hotel booking (personal data of the applicant, name of hotel, address and number of guests must be mentioned)
- Ticket reservation (personal data of the applicant and flight details must be mentioned)
- If you are planning to enter the other Schengen state, you must provide airplane/transport means ticket and proof of accommodation.
- Travel medical insurance. (personal data of the applicant, dates of the journey, the area and sum (30 000 €/ 50 000$) of coverage must be mentioned). All the information must correspond to the information in the passport. If the insurance is not done online, it should be with stamp and signature.
- Job reference (Employment letter, issued not earlier than a month ago, on the company blank with full attributes of the company, including the job title, dates of employment, salary and dates of vacation and preservation of job on return
- Pension book/certificate (photo existence is mandatory in the pension book)
- Documents indicating that the applicant possesses sufficient means of subsistence both for the duration of the intended stay and for the return to his country of origin or residence, or for the transit to a third country into which he is certain to be admitted (Lithuania 45 EUR per day, Latvia 14 EUR per day, Estonia 130,8 EUR per day, Denmark 300 DKK per day, The Netherlands 55 EUR per day, Hungary 10,000 HUF per day). - Bank reference/statement (for the last 3 months) or appropriate documents from the third part with the obligation to cover all expenses related to the journey. If there is no relation between the applicant and sponsor, then the sponsorship letter is required. The sponsorship letter is desirable for husband/ wife/ underage children.
- Copy of valid and old passports- all pages that contain personal data, stamps and visas, and other notes)
- For minors who travel without parents or with one parent only:
- Birth certificate
- Marriage certificate of parents / Paternity acknowledgement certificate/Divorce certificate
- Notarized consent (translated and confirmed by the notary) from parents if the child is travelling alone or with one parent only. At least one parent must be present while submitting the documents.
- If the documents of minor is submitting the third part (except parents and legal guardian), then the power of attorney with appropriate points is required based on which they can apply in the Visa Application Centre. It is not mandatory for children under 12 years to be present while submitting the documents, they are exempted from giving biometric data.
- It is preferable to provide relatives’ passport copies of all pages with notes.
- Additional documents: real estate certificate, marriage certificate, birth certificate, etc.
- Documents of co-travelers must also be presented while applying.
- Consular fee is 35 €, except for Denmark which is 90 €. Service fee is 17.9 €. More detailed variant can be found in the section visa fees.
- All fees should be paid in cash/by credit and are in local AMD.
Additionally, the Consulate can require other documents, supporting the information mentioned in the application or had during the interview.
NOTE: All the documents (that are not in Lithuanian, Russian or English) should have Lithuanian, Russian or English translations either notarized or confirmed by translation offices.
All references are valid a month.

Photo Specifications
Please read the specifications for photographs carefully before submitting your visa application. The photo needs to display a full frontal view of the face Size of the photo must be 3.5 x 4.5 and the face must be 70% of the photo. Please look directly into the camera with a neutral expression and without smiling.
The facial image must be sharp, clear, and with sufficient contrast. Please avoid photos with reflections or shadows on the face or with red eyes. The background should be neutral and light, providing sufficient contrast to the face and hair (a neutral gray/white). Reflection from glasses, sunglasses, or tinted glasses is not permitted. The eyes cannot be hidden by the glass frames. Large jewelry is not allowed.
The photo needs to be printed on high-quality paper; the colours must present a natural appearance and skin tone. The photo must not have kinks, scratches or stains on it.

Processing Time
The Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania in Armenia will review the documents and make a decision within 10 calendar days for Armenian citizens and for foreign citizens the minimum processing time is within 15 calendar days up to 45 calendar days from the submission day of the documents at the visa center. Each visa application is considered individually, so, in connection with this, a decision making term can vary.
Applications shall be lodged no more than 6 months before the start of the intended visit and, as a rule, no later than 15 calendar days before the start of the intended visit.
That processing time may be extended up to a maximum of 30 calendar days in individual cases, notably when further scrutiny of the application is needed. Please note that during holidays the operation of certain consular services may be reduced.

- Pension book/certificate (photo existence is mandatory in the pension book)
- Documents indicating that the applicant possesses sufficient means of subsistence both for the duration of the intended stay and for the return to his country of origin or residence, or for the transit to a third country into which he is certain to be admitted (Lithuania 45 EUR per day, Latvia 14 EUR per day, Estonia 130,8 EUR per day, Denmark 300 DKK per day, The Netherlands 55 EUR per day, Hungary 10,000 HUF per day. - Copy of valid and old passports- all pages that contain personal data, stamps and visas, and other notes)
- For minors who travel without parents or with one parent only:
- Birth certificate

Photo Specifications
Please read the specifications for photographs carefully before submitting your visa application. The photo needs to display a full frontal view of the face Size of the photo must be 3.5 x 4.5 and the face must be 70% of the photo. Please look directly into the camera with a neutral expression and without smiling.
The facial image must be sharp, clear, and with sufficient contrast. Please avoid photos with reflections or shadows on the face or with red eyes. The background should be neutral and light, providing sufficient contrast to the face and hair (a neutral gray/white). Reflection from glasses, sunglasses, or tinted glasses is not permitted. The eyes cannot be hidden by the glass frames. Large jewelry is not allowed.
The photo needs to be printed on high-quality paper; the colours must present a natural appearance and skin tone. The photo must not have kinks, scratches or stains on it.

Processing Time
The Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania in Armenia will review the documents and make a decision within 10 calendar days for Armenian citizens and for foreign citizens the minimum processing time is within 15 calendar days up to 45 calendar days from the submission day of the documents at the visa center. Each visa application is considered individually, so, in connection with this, a decision making term can vary.
Applications shall be lodged no more than 6 months before the start of the intended visit and, as a rule, no later than 15 calendar days before the start of the intended visit.
That processing time may be extended up to a maximum of 30 calendar days in individual cases, notably when further scrutiny of the application is needed. Please note that during holidays the operation of certain consular services may be reduced.

- The passport/ID of the inviter ( basis which invitation is issued), document showing the relation between the inviter and the applicant. If the expensed are covered by the inviter, the 3 months bank statement and work reference with salary indication is required.
- Ticket reservation (personal data of the applicant and flight details must be mentioned)
- If you are planning to enter the other Schengen state, you must provide airplane/transport means ticket and proof of accommodation.
- Travel medical insurance. (personal data of the applicant, dates of the journey, the area and sum (30 000 €/ 50 000$) of coverage must be mentioned). All the information must correspond to the information in the passport. If the insurance is not done online, it should be with stamp and signature.
- Job reference (Employment letter, issued not earlier than a month ago, on the company blank with full attributes of the company, including the job title, dates of employment, salary and dates of vacation and preservation of job on return
- Pension book/certificate (photo existence is mandatory in the pension book)

- Copy of valid and old passports- all pages that contain personal data, stamps and visas, and other notes)
- For minors who travel without parents or with one parent only:
- Birth certificate
- Marriage certificate of parents / Paternity acknowledgement certificate/Divorce certificate
- Notarized consent (translated and confirmed by the notary) from parents if the child is travelling alone or with one parent only. At least one parent must be present while submitting the documents.

Please read the specifications for photographs carefully before submitting your visa application. The photo needs to display a full frontal view of the face Size of the photo must be 3.5 x 4.5 and the face must be 70% of the photo. Please look directly into the camera with a neutral expression and without smiling.
The facial image must be sharp, clear, and with sufficient contrast. Please avoid photos with reflections or shadows on the face or with red eyes. The background should be neutral and light, providing sufficient contrast to the face and hair (a neutral gray/white). Reflection from glasses, sunglasses, or tinted glasses is not permitted. The eyes cannot be hidden by the glass frames. Large jewelry is not allowed.
The photo needs to be printed on high-quality paper; the colours must present a natural appearance and skin tone. The photo must not have kinks, scratches or stains on it.

Processing Time
The Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania in Armenia will review the documents and make a decision within 10 calendar days for Armenian citizens and for foreign citizens the minimum processing time is within 15 calendar days up to 45 calendar days from the submission day of the documents at the visa center. Each visa application is considered individually, so, in connection with this, a decision making term can vary.
Applications shall be lodged no more than 6 months before the start of the intended visit and, as a rule, no later than 15 calendar days before the start of the intended visit.
That processing time may be extended up to a maximum of 30 calendar days in individual cases, notably when further scrutiny of the application is needed. Please note that during holidays the operation of certain consular services may be reduced.

Please be informed that the Embassy of Lithuania in Armenia is accepting documents for the trips to Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Hungary, Denmark, the Netherlands.
If you wish to visit Lithuania/Latvia/Estonia/Hungary/Denmark/the Netherlands for a short period of time and if you come from a country with a visa requirement to enter Lithuania, you must obtain a visa prior to entry. Armenian nationals require a visa to enter Lithuania.
Applicant must choose correct Purpose of travel to Lithuania while applying for visa and the decision must be made by the applicants themselves – Visa Application Centre staff will not be able to assist in taking this decision. In case of any questions regarding the visa application the Embassy/ Consulate General may require an additional interview with the applicant.
VFS is not at liberty to consider the admissibility of an application. If necessary documents are missing the Embassy can decide not to process the application even if VFS received and forwarded it. In such cases VFS informs the applicants about the latest requirements regarding the documents given from the Embassy and it is up to applicant to decide to hand in the documents that way or not.
Please be informed that learning of your documents may take some time. For saving your time please present the package of documents in the right order. Photo Specifications
Please read the specifications for photographs carefully before submitting your visa application. The photo needs to display a full frontal view of the face Size of the photo must be 3.5 x 4.5 and the face must be 70% of the photo. Please look directly into the camera with a neutral expression and without smiling.
The facial image must be sharp, clear, and with sufficient contrast. Please avoid photos with reflections or shadows on the face or with red eyes. The background should be neutral and light, providing sufficient contrast to the face and hair (a neutral gray/white). Reflection from glasses, sunglasses, or tinted glasses is not permitted. The eyes cannot be hidden by the glass frames. Large jewelry is not allowed.
The photo needs to be printed on high-quality paper; the colours must present a natural appearance and skin tone. The photo must not have kinks, scratches or stains on it.

Processing Time
The Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania in Armenia will review the documents and make a decision within 10 calendar days for Armenian citizens and for foreign citizens the minimum processing time is within 15 calendar days up to 45 calendar days from the submission day of the documents at the visa center. Each visa application is considered individually, so, in connection with this, a decision making term can vary.
Applications shall be lodged no more than 6 months before the start of the intended visit and, as a rule, no later than 15 calendar days before the start of the intended visit.
That processing time may be extended up to a maximum of 30 calendar days in individual cases, notably when further scrutiny of the application is needed. Please note that during holidays the operation of certain consular services may be reduced.

Overview
Please be informed that the Embassy of Lithuania in Armenia is accepting documents for the trips to Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Hungary, Denmark, the Netherlands.
If you wish to visit Lithuania/Latvia/Estonia/Hungary/Denmark/the Netherlands for a short period of time and if you come from a country with a visa requirement to enter Lithuania, you must obtain a visa prior to entry. Armenian nationals require a visa to enter Lithuania.
Applicant must choose correct Purpose of travel to Lithuania while applying for visa and the decision must be made by the applicants themselves – Visa Application Centre staff will not be able to assist in taking this decision. In case of any questions regarding the visa application the Embassy/ Consulate General may require an additional interview with the applicant.
VFS is not at liberty to consider the admissibility of an application. If necessary documents are missing the Embassy can decide not to process the application even if VFS received and forwarded it. In such cases VFS informs the applicants about the latest requirements regarding the documents given from the Embassy and it is up to applicant to decide to hand in the documents that way or not.
Please be informed that learning of your documents may take some time. For saving your time please present the package of documents in the right order. Follow the instructions presented in the website for accepting your documents faster. Children under 12 years of age may not be present during the submission of documents in VAC. They are exempted from giving the fingerprints.
The normal processing time for applications submitted in Yerevan is 10- calendar days from the day of submission. In case of incomplete documentation or in case the Embassy/ Consulate General wishes to see you in person before making a decision on your application, the processing time may increase.
A visa is only intended to allow a foreign national to visit Lithuania and/or the other Schengen countries** for a limited period of time (90 days within a period of 180 days). If you wish to reside in Lithuania for an extended period of time (more than 90 days), you need to apply for a National Visa.
The possession of a visa does not confer an automatic right of entry to a Schengen country. The Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania in Armenia will review the documents and make a decision within 10 calendar days for Armenian citizens and for foreign citizens the minimum processing time is within 15 calendar days up to 45 calendar days from the submission day of the documents at the visa center. Each visa application is considered individually, so, in connection with this, a decision making term can vary.
Applications shall be lodged no more than 6 months before the start of the intended visit and, as a rule, no later than 15 calendar days before the start of the intended visit.
That processing time may be extended up to a maximum of 30 calendar days in individual cases, notably when further scrutiny of the application is needed. Please note that during holidays the operation of certain consular services may be reduced.
