Passport Collection

You will be notified by email upon the return of your passport from the IRCC Office to the Visa Application Centre (VAC). To retrieve your passport you can either:

In Person

Collect the passport in person at the VAC. You'll have to bring a valid ID and the receipt issued at the VAC at the time of submission.

Authorized Representative

Authorize someone on your behalf to collect the passport. If a third-party is collecting the passport(s) on your behalf, they must bring the following:

• Authorization, in the form of a completed VFS Global Consent Form, from the applicant whose passport is being collected

• Government issued valid photo identity of the person collecting the passport

• Copy of ID of the applicant whose passport is being collected

• For the children on the application - a copy of birth certificate

• For the spouse on the application – a copy of marriage certificate

• The receipt issued at the VAC, at the time of submission
