Additional Services

VFS Global offers a wide range of services designed to provide you a smooth and seamless visa submission experience.

All additional services offered at the VAC are optional and available at an additional charge above the VFS Global service charges. These charges do not imply or guarantee in any way that they will fast track or prioritize the visa application process. For more details on how to pay VAC Services Charges and additional service charges please check the Service Charges tab.

Mode of Payment of VFS Global fees: Payment of Canada Visa Application Centre Service Charges and optional additional services.

  • In person - by Cash or Alipay mobile payment.

  • By Mail - Service charges can be paid via Bank deposit or online banking in the bank accounts of VACs, the visa fee must be paid online (please provide printed IRCC receipt).

A formal receipt will be generated for every completed transaction.

**The CAD exchange rate is determined by the Canadian government.

Note: The additional services are available at all China VACs with below exceptions:

Premium Lounge services are not available at VACs in Kunming and Hangzhou.

New service charges became effective 1 May 2026.

Courier Plus VAS:

Courier Plus is an optional service. It includes:

  • Free SMS updates

  • Courier service for the one-way shipment of passports

  • A fixed monetary compensation amount if your passport is lost or damaged while handled by VFS Global or its courier partner

If you purchase this service and your passport is lost or stolen

  • You will be informed within one (1) business day after we learn that your passport has been lost or stolen.

  • You will receive clear steps to replace your passport and any valid visas in it.

To receive your fixed compensation if you purchased Courier Plus service, you must provide:

  ✓ Your full name

  ✓ Your VFS Global Reference Number or Package Tracking ID for your passport package

  ✓ Your contact number

  ✓ Bank account holder's name

  ✓ Bank account number

  ✓ Bank name and branch

  ✓ Any comments (if needed)

  ✓ Your handwritten signature and the date your request is submitted

  ✓ An authorization letter, if the person who will receive compensation is not the original applicant

You will receive your compensation within two (2) weeks after all required information is received.

If you purchase this service and your passport becomes damaged and considered unusable for travel:

  • You will be informed within two (2) business days after we learn that your passport has been damaged.

  • You will receive clear steps to replace your passport and any valid visas in it.

To receive your fixed compensation if you purchased Courier Plus service, you must provide:

  ✓ Your full name

  ✓ Your VFS Global Reference Number or Package Tracking ID for your passport package

  ✓ Your contact number

  ✓ Bank account holder's name

  ✓ Bank account number

  ✓ Bank name and branch

  ✓ Any comments (if needed)

  ✓ Your handwritten signature and the date your request is submitted

  ✓ An authorization letter, if the person who will receive compensation is not the original applicant.

You will receive your compensation within two (2) weeks after required information is received.

The submission date for mail-in applications will be the date on which the Visa Application Centre receives the application. If a mail-in application is received and does not include correct payment for current service charges, the applicant will be contacted to pay the difference or the application will be returned back to the applicant.

All charges, including VAC fees, are non-refundable.
