VISA TYPES

Short Term Visa
Processing time for visa is approximately 3 working excluding the day of submission and the Dubai & Singapore week-ends. However, some applications may take longer if further evaluation is required.
Applicants can only apply for a visa within 30 days prior to entry to Singapore.

| *Temporary Passport issued by the United Arab Emirates and Refugee Travel Document issued by Middle-East countries holders will have to submit a copy of entire set of application for pre-approval from the Singapore Consulate/Immigration that will take an approximately 1 to 3 days. Applicant will be notified afterwards to submit the original application, passport and payment if needed |
Note: Possession of a visa does not entitle a foreigner to enter Singapore automatically. The grant of a visit pass to foreign visitor is determined by the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) at the Singapore checkpoints and each case is considered on its own merits.
IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR SAUDI NATIONALS:
Saudi nationals with passports issued by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will no longer need to apply for an entry visa to enter Singapore from 1 June 2023 (inclusive).
Other than holders of Saudi diplomatic passports, who are already exempted from Singapore visa requirements, all other Saudi nationals need to apply for an entry visa if they intend to enter Singapore before 1 June 2023.
There is strictly no refund of the visa processing fee for those who have already submitted or received the outcome of their entry visa applications.

Overview

Visa Fees

- Applicant shall be charged a service fee of AED 65 per application in addition to the visa fees and can be paid in Card or Cash (all applicable taxes included).
- All fees are non-refundable.

Documents Required
- Visa Application Form 14 A; completed, signed by the applicant.
With his/her wet signature the applicant certifies that he/she is aware of the legal consequences of providing false or incomplete information in visa proceedings.
- 2 passport size color photograph in clear white background and dark color shirt only, less than 3 months old, 4.5 cm x 3.5 cm; preferably clicked in a photo studio. Applicants are also requested to provide a digital copy at the Visa Application Center via email
- Original Passport
Passport must have a validity of more than 6 months from date of entry in Singapore.
Applicant should be a valid resident of UAE.
- Passport Copy & UAE Visa Copy
(Bio page, renewals/ extension, observation/amendment page, and UAE Valid Residence Visa Copy - must be valid for the duration of the trip)
- SALARY CERTIFICATE
A Salary Certificate from the Employer must be ORIGINAL (SIGNED & STAMPED), the letter must include EMPLOYEE’S POSITION, SALARY DETAILS, it must be dated not older than a month. It must have the company’s full contact details (i.e. physical address and telephone, email/website).
If the applicant is a Business Owner/ Partner/ Self-Sponsor or Freelancer: A letter on the company letterhead must be provided. It must be ORIGINAL (SIGNED & STAMPED). The letter must include applicant’s position, salary details / source & amount of income as applicable; it must not be dated older than a month. It must have the company’s full contact details (i.e. physical address and telephone, email/website). Along with this Trade License, indicating Partner or Owner’s name must be provided.
If applicant is a dependent: Salary Certificate or the Letter from Company as applicable for the UAE Visa sponsor of the dependent. For Minor’s NOC letter signed by both parents is required along with Passport Copy and UAE Visa Copy.
- Flight Booking (round-trip);
Flight Reservation (Provisional or Confirmed) to be provided at the time of Visa Application
- Accommodation
Non-residential accommodation, such as hotel (in this non-exhaustive list) or serviced apartment covering full stay in Singapore.
OR
Residential accommodation, e.g. own/shared residence, rented residence (please note minimum rental period regulations for Private Property and HDB flat / Bedroom); This must accompanied by Invitation Letter, a colored copy of National Registration Identity Card (NRIC) of the inviting individual
In addition to the above, If your application requires Letter of Introduction (LOI – form V39A), the LOI must have the complete details of the inviting person (local contact in Singapore) i.e. full name, NRIC number, Occupation, full address with postal code and telephone number.
The Letter of Introduction (LOI) can be issued by a local contact in Singapore. Any Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident who is at least 21 years old can also act as a local contact.

- Additionally for Business Purposes
A colored copy of invitation letter from inviting company,
Along with a colored copy of the Singapore registered business entity’s detailed business profile (showing the names of all the directors / shareholders) from the Instant Information Service, Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA).On a case-to-case basis, Consulate General of Singapore may need you to provide and print a latest ACRA within the last 3 months.
In addition to the above, If your application requires Letter of Introduction (LOI – form V39A), the LOI must have the complete details of the inviting person (local contact in Singapore) i.e. full name, NRIC number, Occupation, full address with postal code and telephone number.
PLEASE NOTE:
- All documents must be in English language.
- The Consulate General of Singapore reserves the right to request for additional documents from Visa Applicants.
- Incomplete/illegible forms and /or documents are NOT ACCEPTED.
- The applicant and the local contact in Singapore may be required to furnish additional documents and information whenever necessary.
- Application will be assessed by the Singapore Immigration and Checkpoints Authority based its own merits and supporting documents
- Possession of a visa does not guarantee entry into Singapore. Visitors must also meet entry requirements such as holding a valid passport, sufficient funds for the period of stay in Singapore and confirmed onward/return ticket.
- Applicants can only apply for a visa within 30 days prior to entry to Singapore.
- Applicants can request a representative to submit their visa application and all necessary documents on their behalf however the representative must submit an authorization letter, without which the application are not accepted.

Photo Specifications
- Taken within the last 3 months
- Clear and in focus, 35mm wide by 45mm high, without any borders
- In colour taken against a plain white background without shadows with dark colored clothes.
- Avoid white headgear and plain white clothing (headgear worn in accordance with religious or racial customs is acceptable but must not hide any facial features)
- Full face with the upper shoulders visible, facing forward with eyes open
- Hair must not cover the eyebrows or the eyes
- Even exposure (must not be taken under direct lighting)
- Spectacle frames must not cover part of the eyes
- Spectacle lenses must not reflect or glare.
Dos and Don'ts
Important notes:
- Your photograph must meet ICA’s requirements. Failure to meet these requirements can delay your application or result in its rejection.
- Your photograph must not be altered or enhanced in any way. This includes the modification of facial features and/or the usage of photo editing software.
