Select the visa type that is right for you to see important information on visa fees, documents required, forms, photo specifications and processing times.
Short Term Visa
C type (Short-term ) visas are issued in cases where a foreigner/stateless person intends to stay in Ukraine for up to 90 days (within every 180 days).
C type visas are issued as single / double / multiple entry visas valid for 6 months or another period depending on supporting documents but cannot be issued for more than a 5 year-term.
Tourism

Overview
Tourist visa is granted for those applicants who intend to visit Ukraine for tourism and sightseeing without having an invitation from a Ukrainian referent.
Applicants whose passports were issued in the States or Union Territories mentioned below must submit their visa applications at the respective VFS Centre, as per the applicable jurisdiction.
- Ukraine Visa Application Centre’s in Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai, and Hyderabad (West & South India):Maharashtra, Gujarat, Goa, Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and the Union Territories of Daman & Diu, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Lakshadweep, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, and Puducherry.
- Ukraine Visa Application Centre’s in New Delhi, Chandigarh, and Kolkata (North & East India): Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, Delhi, Chandigarh, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Tripura, and Sikkim.

These categories of applicants are issued with visas upon a zero fee:
- Children under 6 years;
- Persons of Ukrainian descent upon a Certificate of a person of Ukrainian descent, as well as their spouse and children;
- Persons travelling to Ukraine with official purpose and holding diplomatic/service passport;
- Staff of foreign diplomatic missions/consulates to Ukraine and their family members;
- Staff of international organisations, their branches/offices in Ukraine and their family members;
- Staff of foreign states’ missions to international organisations headquartered in Ukraine who are covered with diplomatic privileges and immunities as well as their families’ members;
- Heads of foreign official delegations, their accompanying staff visiting Ukraine upon an invitation of the President of Ukraine, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine (the Parliament), the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine or the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine;
- Ukraine’s honorary consular officials;
- Persons travelling to Ukraine to implement international technical assistance projects upon an invitation of Ukraine’s state authority/entity/organisation which is a recipient of such international technical assistance projects;
- Staff of foreign emergency / rescue authorities who enter Ukraine in order to aid with elimination of the aftermath of an emergency / accident upon an invitation of Ukraine’s Emergencies / Accidents Service;
- Military personnel visiting Ukraine with official purpose upon invitation of the relevant ministry / other central executive authority;
- Election observers delegated by foreign states and international organisations to observe presidential, parliamentary, local elections / national referendums upon lists provided to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs by Ukraine’s Central Election Committee;
- Other persons visiting Ukraine in order to implement projects in foreign policy / humanitarian aid areas upon the invitation of the head of the relevant authority and confirmation of the Ministry of Finance.

Photo Specifications
A Photograph submitted with the application form should comply with the following specifications:


- Must be an up to date photograph (not more than 6 months old)
- Must be a colour photograph printed on normal photographic paper
- Should be passport sized 3,5 х 4,5 сm
- Face should take 70-80% of the photograph
- The size of the face from the bottom of your chin to the hairline must be between 31mm and 36mm
- The background shall be plain and light coloured
- Without sunglasses
- Without hat or other head covering unless you wear this for religious reasons
- Spectacles should not have toned or reflecting glasses
- The frame of the spectacles may not cover the eyes
- The mouth must be closed

Forms must be filled in completely by VFS and must be signed by the applicant himself/herself.

An applicant will have to provide evidence that he/she falls under this category.

Long Term Visa
Long-term (type D) Ukrainian visas are issued as a multiple entry visas for 90 days(unless otherwise stipulated by legislation or international treaties of Ukraine) within which applicants are to enter Ukraine and apply to local offices of the State Migration Service of Ukraine for a temporary residence permit.

Please note – For Minor applicants under 18 years of age cannot sign on the application form for Ukraine visa. Only Legal Guardian or Parents can sign on behalf of the applicant on the visa application form.

- All Applicants are requested to submit the Visa Fee and VFS Fee at VFS centre in Cash/Card/UPI.
- VFS will also accept the Service Fee (inclusive of Convenience charges of INR 650) - INR 2970 per applicant and Other Charges Pertaining to value added Services (Inclusive of all taxes)
- Video Conferencing Charges - INR3840 (if Embassy ask for Interview)
- Mandatory Form Filling Charges – INR2640
For Nepalese applicants:
A Service fee of NPR 3944 will be charged per applicant and other charges pertaining to value added services.
Visa Fee and VFS Charges are Non-Refundable
Visa fees are given for Indian nationals only.
Double rates of consular fee shall apply in case of Urgent processing.
These categories of applicants are issued with visas upon a zero fee:
- Children under 6 years;
- Persons of Ukrainian descent upon a Certificate of a person of Ukrainian descent, as well as their spouse and children;
- Persons travelling to Ukraine with official purpose and holding diplomatic/service passport;
- Staff of foreign diplomatic missions/consulates to Ukraine and their family members;
- Staff of international organisations, their branches/offices in Ukraine and their family members;
- Staff of foreign states’ missions to international organisations headquartered in Ukraine who are covered with diplomatic privileges and immunities as well as their families’ members;
- Heads of foreign official delegations, their accompanying staff visiting Ukraine upon an invitation of the President of Ukraine, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine (the Parliament), the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine or the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine;
- Ukraine’s honorary consular officials;
- Persons travelling to Ukraine to implement international technical assistance projects upon an invitation of Ukraine’s state authority/entity/organisation which is a recipient of such international technical assistance projects;
- Staff of foreign emergency / rescue authorities who enter Ukraine in order to aid with elimination of the aftermath of an emergency / accident upon an invitation of Ukraine’s Emergencies / Accidents Service;
- Military personnel visiting Ukraine with official purpose upon invitation of the relevant ministry / other central executive authority;
- Election observers delegated by foreign states and international organisations to observe presidential, parliamentary, local elections / national referendums upon lists provided to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs by Ukraine’s Central Election Committee;
- Other persons visiting Ukraine in order to implement projects in foreign policy / humanitarian aid areas upon the invitation of the head of the relevant authority and confirmation of the Ministry of Finance.

Photo Specifications
A Photograph submitted with the application form should comply with the following specifications:


- Must be an up to date photograph (not more than 6 months old)
- Must be a colour photograph printed on normal photographic paper
- Should be passport sized 3,5 х 4,5 сm
- Face should take 70-80% of the photograph
- The size of the face from the bottom of your chin to the hairline must be between 31mm and 36mm
- The background shall be plain and light coloured
- Without sunglasses
- Without hat or other head covering unless you wear this for religious reasons
- Spectacles should not have toned or reflecting glasses
- The frame of the spectacles may not cover the eyes
- The mouth must be closed
Please note that photos that do not comply with these standards are not accepted.

Processing Time
It takes usually minimum five (05) working days for Urgent visa applications and ten (10) working days for Normal visa applications. In addition, in case of missing documents, additional requirements or absence from interview - 30 working days)

VFS Global is involved only in non-judgmental task of visa processing and does not play any role in processing the visa application as this is entirely the prerogative of the Embassy of Ukraine, New Delhi.

Form
Please note Embassy has mandated that application forms can only be filled up at the application centres by paying mandatory form filling charges.
Forms must be filled in completely by VFS and must be signed by the applicant himself/herself.
