Overview

Business Visa is given to those visiting Algeria for the purpose of Business/Trade Exhibition/Training courses.

Visa Fees

• The visa fees must be paid in ‘INR’ only through Bank Demand Drafts payable to – “Embassy of Algeria in New Delhi”
• Applicant or Applicant’s Company name is required to be mentioned on the Demand draft as a ‘Purchaser name’
• Travel Agents/Representatives purchaser name demand drafts are not acceptable.
• Visa Fee Demand Draft must be issued in the same month of the submission.

VFS Service Fee:

VFS Logistic charges to be paid in Cash or POS at the time of submission.

There is no exemption for VFS Service charge.

The above fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.

Documents Required

1. Original Passport with a validity at least six (06) months.
2. Two (02) copies of Visa Application Forms, dully and fully completed, typed online, and signed. Original signature is required on each page.
3. Two (02) recent passport size photographs.
4. Original invitation letter from Algerian company which should be submitted in hard copy, attested by the Algerian Chamber of Commerce.
5. Copy of confirmed hotel reservation and copy of airfare ticket showing dates of entry and exit.
6. Copy of valid travel insurance as per below requirement.
• Single Entry (1 to 30 Days): Minimum 1-month valid Insurance
• Multiple Entry (1 to 90 Days): Minimum 3 months valid Insurance.
• Multiple Entry (1 to 180 Days): Minimum 6 months valid Insurance.
• Multiple Entry (Upto 1 Year): Minimum 1 Year valid Insurance.
7. Letter of responsibility typewritten on the company letterhead is required and must be addressed to: Embassy of Algeria, Visa Section, B-6, Anand Niketan, New Delhi, 110021, India.
8. The letter must explain all of the following –
   • Nature of business to be performed.
   • Name and address of reference to be visited in Algeria
   • The letter should be signed by an officer of the company other than the applicant.

Photo Specifications

• The photograph must be in color.
• It should be without border.
• It should have a white background only.
• It should have a close up of your head and top of your shoulders so that your face takes up 70-80% of the photograph.
• It should be in sharp focus and clean.
• It should be of high quality with no ink marks and creases.
• The photograph must show you looking directly at the camera.
• It should be 3.5 cm X 4.5 cm.
• It should show your skin tone naturally.
• It should have appropriate brightness and contrast.
• The photograph should be a recent one not more than 1 month old.
• It is to be taken without headgear.
• Photograph can be taken with headgear, after consideration on case to case basis if the applicant wears headgear on religious grounds. The main characteristics of the face must be apparent from the photograph. Chin, nose, eyes, ears and eyebrows must not be covered; the forehead should be uncovered to the extent that the shape of the face is apparent. Teeth should not be visible.
• It should be without hat/cap.
• The photograph should not have any staple marks.
• Scanned & color photocopies would NOT be accepted.

• Processing time for Delhi location is minimum 07 working days.
• Processing time for other location in India is minimum 10 to 12 working days.
