VISA TYPES
B2 Tourist Visit, Relatives & Friends Visit

Overview
A Tourist visa is granted to someone who wishes to stay in Israel for only a short time (for a visit, tourism, or visiting relatives and friends). A person who enters Israel on a Tourist visa is not allowed to work in the State of Israel.
A Tourist visa is valid for up to three months from the date of issue.

Visa Fees
You must pay the applicable Visa fee and VFS Service fee when submitting your application. The Visa fees are determined based on your Nationality and Type of Entry to Israel. Please refer to the table given below to know your visa fees.
Charge Type Amount (AED) Remarks Visa Fees AED 100 For each application VFS Service Fees AED 288.75 For each application Visa fees payments can only be made in cash (AED) or by credit card at the VFS Israel Visa Application Centre.
- VFS Service Charges are inclusive of taxes and are non-refundable.
- Please be informed that the fees charged by the Embassy or VFS Global are based on the current exchange rate in local currency and may be subject to change without prior notification.

Please note:- All the nationalities mentioned below are required to fill out the Visa Application form given at the end of the list.
Afghanistan, Algeria, Egypt, Indonesia, Jordan, North Korea (Democratic People’s Republic of Korea), Kuwait, Libya, Malaysia, Mauritania, Morocco, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sudan, Tunisia, and Yemen.
All above nationalities please fill in this Visa Application Form.
For Minors, please refer to the Document Check List for Minors & the Minor Consent Form (if applicable).
Please fill and sign the Isolation & Quarantine Form.
- The Embassy may request for additional documents.
- Even though all the required documents are submitted and procedures are fulfilled, the Embassy has the right to decide whether to issue a visa or not, without mentioning any reasons.
- Applicants may be required to attend an interview with the Embassy of Israel. The Visa Application Centre shall help you take an appointment for the same.
Photo Specifications
Please submit two photograph along with your visa application. The photograph must be:
- The photograph must be in colour.
- It should have a light background.
- It should have a close up of your head and top of your shoulders so that your face takes up 70-80% of the photograph.
- It should be in sharp focus and clean.
- It should be of high quality with no ink marks and creases.
- The photograph must show you looking directly at the camera.
- It should be 5cm * 5cm for UAE.
- It should show your skin tone naturally.
- It should have appropriate brightness and contrast.
- The photograph should be a recent one not more than 6 months old.
- It is to be taken without headgear.
- Photograph can be taken with headgear, after consideration on case to case basis if the applicant wears headgear on religious grounds. The main characteristics of the face must be apparent from the photograph. Chin, nose, eyes and eyebrows must not be covered, the forehead should be uncovered to the extent that the shape of the face is apparent.
- It should be without hat/cap.
- It should be with the applicant's hair tucked behind his/her ears.
- The photograph should not have any staple marks.
- Scanned & colour photocopies would NOT be accepted.
Processing Time
The Embassy of Israel aims to process the applications within 15 working days. Certain nationalities can take up to 60 calendar days to process the application.
Please be advised that due to the above mentioned minimum processing time, we are not able to guarantee the return of passports by specific dates for travel.
Please be sure to submit your visa application well in advance, to avoid any inconveniences.

A B2 Business, Conference, Medical Treatment & Short-term Study Visa is granted to someone who wishes to stay in Israel for only a short time (for attending meetings, business visits, conferences and medical treatments).

A2 Student Visa

Overview
This visa is granted to those who want to study in Israel in elementary and high schools, academic institutions, yeshivot and youth institutions of the Jewish Agency. The visa is valid for up to one year and for multiple entrances and exits.
Recipients of this visa are not permitted to work in Israel.
