Overview

This visa is solely for the purpose of leisure travel including vacationing, cruising, sighting and other recreational activities or visit to family members. People intend to attend marriage/baptized/burial ceremonies have to apply under tourist category

Visa Fees

Please Note:

The visa fees - according to the Schengen provisions are processing fees. They must always be paid, irrespective of the outcome of the visa application and they are not refundable. They are payable in FCFA only.

• The visa fee in FCFA is as per current exchange rate. It is subject to change without notice.
• There is a service charge of 14,450 FCFA levied per application over and above the visa fees.
• Visa Fee and service charge to be paid in cash at Bank Implant inside VFS/Global centre. Kindly carry the applicant's 1st page Passport photocopy while paying the service fee and the visa fee at the bank
• Child less than 6 years of age applying for short term visa is exempted from paying visa fee.
• Children between the age of 6 years to 12 years will pay visa fee of 27,000 FCFA only
• There is no exemption for VFS Service charge.
• The above VFS Service Charge are non-refundable and non-transferable.
  Applicant has to pay a bank charge of FCFA 1813 per application.
  Applicants from Douala have to pay a return courier charge of FCFA 4,988 at bank implant teller in addition

Overview

A Business visa is required if during any portion of the visit applicant intends to conduct business or commercial activities. E.g.; Meetings, Conference, Trainings, Trade Fairs, etc; such visas can only be issued to travelers not being paid for work by an entity within Italy. If the applicant intends to undertake paid work in Italy he/she will need to obtain a work Permit visa under Long Term Category
