The only acceptable method of payment for Visa Fees
is by Demand Draft in Indian Rupees (INR). Demand Draft should be drawn in favour
of "Consulate General of Italy", payable at Kolkata, India.
“Any demand draft having contradicting MICR number or incorrect information
shall not be acceptable”. There is a bank counter available at VFS office to
assist applicants prepare their visa fees demand draft
with an additional NPR 1250/-

Please Note:
Exemption of Visa Fee for a child is applicable only in the case of Short Term category, if the child's age is less than 6 years at the date of submission.
According to the Schengen code, visa is free of charge for the following EU citizens’ relatives:
spouses;
sons/daughters (under 21 year-old or dependents);
Parents ONLY IF they are dependents (that must be proved, of course).

There is an optional form filling facility available at NPR 262/- (Inclusive of service tax 13%) per application
There is an optional SMS service available at NPR 210/- (inclusive of service tax 13%) per application
There is document check service where Applicant can use this service at NPR 1312/- (inclusive of service tax 13%) per application prior the application date where VFS Staff will check the document as per checklist.
