SCHENGEN VISA
TYPE C VISA
A Schengen visa has to be obtained from the Embassy of the country where the MAIN PURPOSE OF TRAVEL lies. Therefore, please check your travel plans before applying at the Norway Visa Application Centre in Nigeria. In case of travel to multiple Schengen countries, please apply to the Embassy of the country where you will be staying for the maximum number of days. If the number of days to be spent in multiple countries is the same, you must apply to the Embassy of the Country which will be your first point of entry.
If you plan to apply for a Schengen visa at the Norway Visa Application Centre, your main destination and the maximum period of stay in the Schengen area must be mainly in Norway. Please provide proof to support this information.
Note that It is a short term period visa (type "C") with a Maximum length of stay of 90 days.

Processing Time:
The Embassy has 15 days to process a normal visa application. In some rare cases it can take 30 days and even 60 days. The processing time starts once the Visa Application reaches the Embassy of Norway in Kenya.
VFS SERVICE CHARGE AND RESUBMISSION FEE:

There is a service charge of NGN 98,010 levied per application over and above the visa fees. (Service charge is inclusive of all taxes) The fee mentioned is per applicant.
Applicants may request to have the passport returned from the embassy while the application is being processed. If the applicant later resubmits the passport for issuance of visa, VFS may request the applicant to pay (Euro 52.00 ) Naira 92,664 to cover the Resubmission Courier.
There is no exemption for VFS Global Service charge.
Visa fee and service fee needs to be paid online before visiting the application center in Lagos and Abuja.
The above fees are non-refundable and non transferable.
