Visa for Tourist Visit

Overview
This visa is for applicants who intend to travel to Switzerland for leisure, recreation or sightseeing.

Visa Fees
Please note that VFS Global offers an additional optional service for visa applicants in Morocco. VFS charges an extra service fee for this service, to be paid by the applicant.

- VFS service charge:
- Visa fee payment can only be made in cash (Moroccan MAD).
- Fees are being paid as per the exchange rate provided by the Embassy.
- All fees are non-refundable.
Apart from the visa fee, a VFS service charge of 28.8 Euro (300 MAD) (for submission with biometrics) inclusive of VAT per application will be levied for applicants applying at the visa application centre.

They have to apply in their country of residence. This is valid for all kind of applications.

Processing Time
As a general rule, a decision is taken by the Consulate within 15 days. This period may, in individual cases, be extended.
Some Schengen States require that they be consulted on visa applications submitted to other Schengen States by citizens of certain countries. The consultation process may take up to 14 calendar days. Such consultation is currently required for nationals of the countries listed here:
It is therefore recommended to submit the visa application early, at the earliest 6 months before the planned journey.
