Overview

Tourist visa application is applicable in case you are travelling for tourism purposes. This visa is given for travel period of less than 90 days.

Visa Fees

The following applicants are exempted from visa fee:

• Family member of Swiss citizen*
• You are the spouse of a Swiss or EU citizen
• You are the registered partner of a Swiss or EU Citizen
• You are the child (younger than 21 years and non Swiss/EU citizenship) of the spouse of a Swiss/EU citizen and financially dependent on the Swiss/EU citizen.
• You are the parent of a Swiss/EU citizen or the parent of the spouse of the Swiss/EU citizen and you are financially dependent on them

Below is the service charge when applying for at VFS Switzerland VAC:

• Children above 12 years will be considered as adults.
• The applicable visa fee in Vietnamese dong is as per the current exchange rate. It is subject to change without notice.
• Each case is reviewed separately at the time of application, and no guarantee can be given that a visa will be issued.
• Applicants who are exempted from the visa fees need to pay only the service fee
• The fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

• Printed on normal photographic paper (camera print).
• Full face, non-smiling [without sunglasses, a hat/cap or other head covering, unless the applicant wears such items because of their religious belief or ethnic background].

A Business visa is required if during any portion of the visit applicant intends to conduct business or commercial activities. e.g.; Meetings, Conference, Trainings, Trade Fairs no longer than 90 days

Holder of diplomatic and service passport are exempted of visa fee.

Overview

Vietnamese citizens and foreigners living in Vietnam with a valid residence/work permit travelling to Switzerland for gainful activities of more than 8 but less than 120 working days per calendar year

Any gainful activity is subject to authorization by the competent, cantonal migration authority. The employer must take the necessary steps in Switzerland and apply for the work permit of the visa applicant at the competent migration authority in the Canton where the working place is located beforehand. If the gainful activity is exercised for more than 120 days per calendar year, please refer to the relevant information under "National visa for a stay of more than 90 days".

Visa Fees

The following applicants are exempted from visa fee:

• Family member of Swiss citizen*
• You are the spouse of a Swiss or EU citizen
• You are the registered partner of a Swiss or EU Citizen
• You are the child (younger than 21 years and non Swiss/EU citizenship) of the spouse of a Swiss/EU citizen and financially dependent on the Swiss/EU citizen.
• You are the parent of a Swiss/EU citizen or the parent of the spouse of the Swiss/EU citizen and you are financially dependent on them

• Children above 12 years will be considered as adults.
• The applicable visa fee in Vietnamese dong is as per the current exchange rate. It is subject to change without notice.

Service fee

Note:
