It is applicable in case you are travelling for tourism. This visa is given for a period of the stay up to 90 days within 180 days.

Exemption of Visa Fee:

• Children under 6 years.
• A family member of an Estonian or an EU/ EEA citizen of a third country whose nationals are required to hold a visa for the Schengen area.
• Persons who intend to attend meetings of the United Nations or its organizations, the Council of Europe, the European Union or the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe to be held in Estonia.
• School children, students, post-graduate students and accompanying teachers who undertake trips for the purpose only of study or educational training.
• Researchers coming from third countries travelling in the Community for conducting scientific research with a view to facilitating proceedings carried out by Member States for issuing uniform short -stay visas.
• Persons invited by Parliament or the Estonian Government.
• Anyone who, by virtue of an international convention, is entitled to a visa free of charge. Representatives of non-profit organizations aged 25 years or less participating in seminars, conferences, sports, cultural or educational events organized by non-profit organizations.

All photos must meet the requirements listed below. If these requirements have not been met, the applicant will have to deliver a new photo that meets the requirements. The photo requirements are the same for children as for adults.

The Photo shall:

• be in sharp focus, clear and with good contrasts
• be printed on quality photo paper with high solution
• be in colours with a light background
• be 35-45 mm in width
• maximum 6 months old, resemble the applicant
• full-face, facing the camera directly, eyes looking straight at the camera
• show the whole head and the top of the shoulders. The face shall occupy 70-80 % of the picture
• show open eyes that are clearly visible. Hair shall not cover the eyes

Regarding glasses:

Glasses are allowed as long as the eyes are clearly visible.

Regarding head-dress:

Religious head-dresses are allowed provided that all details of the face are clearly shown.

Normally，processing time for visa applications is within 15 calendar days (delivery time should be deducted), if the submitting date is less than 15 days before the date of departure, the applicant (except with the invitation or note from Chinese Embassy) should submit the reservation of flight.
