Step 1: Complete the online OCI application form through the Government of India portal. Click here
Step 2: Review the applicable OCI checklist and arrange all supporting documents before submitting your application Click here
Step 3: Appointments are mandatory for all OCI applications. Book your appointment and pay the ICAC Service Fee online. Click here
Step 4: Attend the Indian Consular Application Centre (ICAC) serving your jurisdiction on the date and time of your appointment to submit your application and complete biometric enrolment.

Government fees will be collected at the Indian Consular Application Centre (ICAC) when you submit your application.
From 1 July 2026, biometric enrolment is mandatory for all OCI applications.
Applicants must attend their appointment in person to enrol biometrics at the time of application submission.
