Feedback and Track Your Application
1. Track your application on the Government Portal
For Passport Applications, Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) and Surrender of Indian Passport applications
You can track your application status through the Passport Seva Portal: https://mportal.passportindia.gov.in/mission/TrackApplication
You will need:
i. 12-digit Application Reference Number (ARN) received from the Passport Seva Portal.
ii. Date of Birth (DD/MM/YYYY).
For OCI Applications
You can track the status of your OCI application through the OCI Services Portal: https://ociservices.gov.in/onlineOCI/statusEnqury
You will need:
i. Application ID/File Reference Number.
ii. Passport Number used in the OCI application.
iii. Complete the CAPTCHA verification.
2. Track Your Application with VFS Global
Once your application has been submitted at a VFS Global centre and processed in the VFS Global system, you can track its progress using the VFS Global tracking portal.
You will need:
1. Application ID/File Number.
2. Date of Birth ( DD/MM/YYYY).
3. Complete the CAPTCHA verification.
What Does "Invalid Input" Mean?
This status may indicate that:
Your application has not yet been reviewed and processed in the VFS Global system, or
The information entered does not match our records.
If you submitted your application by post, it may take up to 6 to 7 working days for your application to be reviewed and appear in the tracking system.
