Short Term Visas

In the CIS countries following diplomatic posts are representing Belgium for short term visas, hence residents of these states should apply for C visas in the following diplomatic missions:

Visa for Business or professional purpose (visa C)

Overview
This visa is required if during any portion of the visit applicant intends to conduct business or commercial activities (e.g. meetings, conference, trade fairs) or particular intervention (e.g. training, repair, IT programming…). Such visas can only be issued to travellers not being paid for work by an entity within Belgium. If the applicant intends to undertake paid work in Belgium, he/she will need to obtain a work permit even for a short stay, unless exempted.
This visa is also meant for professional such as pilots or crew, truck drivers, journalists…

This is a special cultural program for the youth. The Au Pair is a young person temporarily hosted by a family. He/she is housed and fed by this family in return for light day-to-day family chores. Participating in family life allows this young person to improve his language skills and develop his general culture through a better knowledge of the host country.
